Establishing a culture and practice of continuous improvement in the distribution center. Coaching, mentoring, and developing DC managers and supervisors to become "process improvement champions" within Indigo. Leading strategy development, action planning, and project chartering to close performance gaps. AND YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS: 5-10 years relevant experience in warehousing and distribution. Plog, CITT, engineering degree/diploma or equivalent. Outstanding leadership, motivational, and team building skills. Thorough knowledge of warehousing and distribution best practices. Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills. A real passion for and demonstrated mastery of total quality/continuous improvement methodologies and practices (e.g. Six Sigma, Quality improvement process, Kepner Tregoe). Excellent budgeting, cost control, and project management skills. Experience with Logistics Pro or SAP systems an asset. Service driven, customer focused, Energy - High degree of self-motivation Energize - ability to motivate and inspire employees, Edge - willingness to make decisions; creative and innovative approach to problem solving, Execute - focus on full execution of responsibilities,, Belief in accountability and ownership, Belief in the value of communication, including active listening, True belief in teamwork and the ability to understand the impact of one's actions on another team, individual or process.
