AA Breakdown
AA Breakdown have more than twice as many patrols on the road as any other breakdown organisation and, if you break down, the AA has the latest satellite technology to help find the shortest route to get to you. AA Breakdown attends a breakdown, on average, every 8.7 seconds and repairs around 8 out of 10 cars by the roadside. Also, only the AA has 'VIxEN', a unique on-board computer to help diagnose faults rapidly when you've broken down. Most important of all, AA Breakdown is the only breakdown organisation to offer personal members a free courtesy car, so you'll never be left stranded.
With AA Breakdown breakdown cover you purchase only the coverage that suits you best, without wasting money on expensive options that you'll never use. Choose from different plans that include:
- AA Roadside – Help more than ¼ mile from your home. If your car can´t be fixed by the road, AA Breakdown take you and your car home or to the nearest garage (whichever is nearer at the time), and AA provide you with a courtesy car for 24 hours.
- AA Relay – If AA can't arrange a prompt repair, AA Breakdown transport you, your car and up to seven passengers home, or to any mainland UK destination.
- AA Home Start – Assistance at home, or within ¼ mile of it.
- AA Relay Plus – If you're away from home, AA Breakdown provide a replacement car for up to 48 hours, or overnight accommodation, or onward travel if a local repair isn't possible.
There are four different levels of AA cover: AA Breakdown Cover Options 100 to 400.
